We are looking for a IT Engineer on behalf of our client providing application and product solution for the energy sector. The new colleague will be part of an R&D team, in a newly established development centre.

Feladatok

• Brings support to validation teams for administration and network purposes
• Propose and implement the architecture for the test platforms
• Install, configure and exploit / supervise our product VMs
• Deploy our solution onto customer’s platforms
• Ensure Level 2 Support
• Move to customer’s site when required
• Manage product IT documents (Write and update)
• Manage project technical documents (Write and update)
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of installation packages to be delivered to System teams
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of the infrastructure, with necessary pre installation when needed
• Estimate the capacity load necessary to implement the activities that are under responsibilities and achieve objectives engaged with the project manager
• Support and coach Junior Engineers

Elvárások

• 5 years of experience in similar role
• Mastery of IP addressing space, Information System / database interconnexion
• Scripting & automation for installation under Linux / Shell (Perl is a plus)
• Packaging: Knows how to prepare deliverables for each version
• Prepares solution installation and maintenance guide
• Deploy under (hence mastery of) Linux (RedHat 7.x et CentOS7.x)
• Sound knowledge of following tools: Apache Tomcat, Apache ActiveMQ, Httpd, Postgresql, Cassandra, Kafka, Zookeeper
• Sound knowledge of following protocols: NFS, TCP/IP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS
• Sound knowledge of Virtualisation sous VMWare/ESXi
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
