Tasks
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and supporting software programs using various backend technologies. Your expertise in Java will enable you to create applications that simplify complex tasks, resulting in time, effort, or cost savings and redefining expectations.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and proficiency in Java, IDE, language, and toolset.
- Conduct thorough testing of software features using test-driven development.
- Profile and optimize code to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and apply suitable design patterns to solve problems effectively.
- Have a strong grasp of cohesion, SOLID principles, and their application.
- Possess a working knowledge of at least one relevant operating system.
- Write scripts and automate processes in the applicable environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as Redis or MongoDB.
- Exposure to various frameworks and libraries like Spring Boot or Micronaut.
- Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes (or similar) for containerization, scalability, and application monitoring.
- Prior experience working in Lean and Agile environments.
- Understanding of methodologies like BDD, ATDD, and TDD and their principles.
